North Carolina cities and towns are the economic engines of our state. When they thrive, the whole state thrives. Cities and towns in North Carolina are under tremendous strain as they work to serve the large population that is moving to this state every month, the financial strains caused to rural cities by the loss of industry and population in rural areas as they move to more urban areas, and workforce losses that are impacting all cities. The NCLM Local Leadership Foundation provides help that supports local leaders as they face these issues.
